Monitoring and Research

Before a bill or regulation can be introduced or a budget item proposed, a great deal of preparation takes place. 

Our team takes the guesswork out of where to start. We research similar legislation from other states and discuss the pending legislation or budget item with people and organizations who may be opposed to what we are trying to accomplish.  We prepare custom talking points and materials to support our position. 

As the bill, regulation or budget item moves through the legislative process, we monitor it closely to make sure no one amends or attempts to kill the items we are promoting.

We have legislative team members in the House and Senate galleries each day during the Legislative Session.  We also read the daily introductions of all bills and regulations to make sure that even the ones that are not directly related to you don't have anything in them adverse to your interests.
