State Funding and Procurement

There are many steps in the South Carolina state budget process. Whether it is through writing provisos, inserting line items or obtaining appropriations through other means, we are intimately involved in every step of the budget process. These steps include the Governor's budget hearings, working with the House and Senate budget writers in the various subcommittees, and full committee hearings.  We then monitor and lobby for our budget items on the House and Senate floors.  The last step in the process is to work to override or sustain any veto by the Governor relative to our client's interest.
